StrataXRT is a novel, flexible wound dressing for the prevention and treatment of radiation dermatitis. The film-forming gel dries as a thin, flexible and protective layer that is gas permeable and waterproof.
Acute skin reactions of radiation dermatitis are an inevitable consequence of radiation therapy and range from erythema, dry desquamation through to moist desquamation and they can be a source of significant pain, discomfort and psychological distress.
StrataXRT is a proprietary, film forming silicone gel specifically designed to manage radiation dermatitis including dry and moist desquamation.
StrataXRT is used to relieve low grade inflammatory changes such as dry, itching, flaking, peeling and irritated skin.
For more severe inflammatory changes, StrataXRT reduces pain, redness and heat and helps soothe the exposed skin areas.
